Ways to Wear... Plaid/Gingham Shirt

I often become stuck in pairing the same pieces together over and over. This cycle leaves me a bit bored with my clothes and always wanting something new. However, sometimes all you need is fresh eyes, or one new piece to create an entirely different look. I just came across the blog Putting Me Together, and am loving everything she features. Especially her "ways to wear" entires where she demonstrates various options for the same piece. Ways to Wear a Plaid/Gingham shirt is too cute and great for us Squamish gals who tend to have one or more plaid shirts in the closet... I can't wait to try some of these out!

Put a Bird on It!

It's a rainy day here in Squamish, but I'm brightening things up in the shop. Spring scarves have arrived and so far my favourite is this Mocking Bird piece that can be worn as a scarf, headband or tied around a bag for some extra flare.

Every time I see bird prints, I can't help but quote Portlandia's "Put a Bird on it!" skit. For some extra laughs, take a look. Hilarious and true! Birds are always a big hit!
